Laura Bricker Hagan, CHT

Laura Bricker Hagan was first introduced to the field of occupational therapy when she
was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at a young age. She decided to pursue a career
in OT and received her bachelors of science in occupational therapy from Western
Michigan University in 1997. As a pianist herself dealing with a potentially debilitating
disease, she developed an interest in pathology affecting functional use of the hand and
arm. She was granted a certification in hand therapy by the Hand Therapy Certification
Commission in 2002. Her primary areas of interest are rehab following trauma, custom
splint fabrication, and activity modification. Laura lives in Longmont with her husband
and three children.
